For Beards as Bold as a Proper Brew - But Why?
Yorkshire Yeti originated from the wild Yorkshire Moors, moving to a new home under the shadow of the Southern Alps in 2011. Born from a need for quality, all-natural skin care and grooming products, for rugged men who work and play hard. After receiving too many average but very expensive grooming gifts for Christmas, it was time to take matters into hand. Knuckle down, read up on the science - track down the best ingredients - procure shiny glass beakers, thermometers, lab coats; the full Monty.
The entire range has been tested on real, genuine Christchurch blokes, so be assured there is no cruelty in our products (unless you count making scruffy sods improve their appearances against their will). All of our products are hand crafted in small batches with strict controls, to ensure hygiene and quality. Being a boutique enterprise, products can be modified and new editions created as demand requires.
Our classic aroma of Smoky Scotch has notes of spice, wood, smoke and is found throughout most of our product range. The rugged yet warm nature of the aroma is bound to satisfy the most hard to please man. Seville Sunset invokes the drama of Andalusian Spain, the smells and atmosphere with its burnt citrus and spicy notes. Try this exotic aroma on a date night, it's sure to exude authenticity and confidence, I'll tell thee that for nowt.
Take a walk on the wild side, with Yorkshire Yeti.

The Finest Local Ingredients
By sourcing premium local ingredients like beeswax from Mt Lyford Honey,
we support other Kiwi family businesses doing great work.
Happy Alpine Bees
Beeswax is a cornerstone of Yorkshire Yeti’s grooming range, valued for its natural, versatile properties that perfectly suit our rugged ethos—from the Yorkshire Moors to the Southern Alps. This high-quality ingredient from Mt Lyford Honey, North Canterbury acts as a natural emollient, locking in moisture to nourish and protect skin and hair, while providing a firm, workable hold in our beard waxes and pomades; ideal for taming the beast with a timeless style. Its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities also help soothe irritation—perfect for our rugged man’s sunburned skin after a day on a building site or equally the beach; while adding a subtle, earthy scent that complements our signature cedarwood and vetiver blend, ensuring you groom like a Northerner and smell like a kiwi legend.
If you're heading up the Inland Kaikoura road, call in to Mt Lyford Honey and try some of their world class products, we thoroughly recommend it.
Revive Your Hooves

Your Face Deserves a Proper Feed
New Zealand grass-fed cosmetic-grade tallow in our face and body balm is the real deal —straight from the lush pastures of the the South Island, where cows graze happier than a Yorkshire lad with a pie and pint on a Friday night. This tallow is packed with vitamins A, D, E, and K, making it a proper skin saviour for our rugged bloke, soothing his sunburned chops after a hard days yakka - better than a cuppa on a rainy day in Invercargill. Its rich, nourishing texture locks in moisture without clogging pores, perfect for taming the beast while keeping you soft as a Southern Alp meadow. We don't skimp on this ingredient and don't be confused with cheaper supermarket food grade tallow - this ain't it!
Slap it on, toughen up, groom like a Yorkshireman and smell like a Kiwi legend, all while using nature’s finest from New Zealand’s greenest fields.
